The Boiler Room
One of the plant’s original boiler shells, fitted with a smart TV for slideshows, games, or a toast that needs a screen. Popular for birthdays and small work dinners.

Wine Cellar
A two-tiered, below-grade room with a speakeasy feel. The lower level seats an intimate group on its own, or open the split level for a larger gathering with a full bar setup.

Answers to the most common questions we hear before booking a private dining occasion.
Does the Steam Plant have private dining rooms in Spokane?
Yes. Four enclosed rooms, the Pipe Room, Boiler Room, Wine Cellar and Board Room, are available inside the historic 1916 building for parties of 26 or fewer.
How many people can each room hold?
The Wine Cellar seats 16 on its lower level or up to 30 with the split level open. The Pipe Room seats 20, the Boiler Room seats 24, and the Board Room, the largest of the four, seats 36.
Can private dining guests order from the regular menu?
Yes. Private dining parties order from the restaurant’s regular menu, so every guest can choose their own dish rather than a fixed banquet plate.
How do I book a private dining room?

What if my group is larger than 36 guests?
