Rooftop
Two outdoor patios overlooking the Spokane skyline, with a retractable awning and the option to light the iconic smoke stacks in your choice of color for the evening.

Game Room
Built-in bar and full entertainment lineup, including game simulators (golf, football, soccer, zombie dodgeball, hunting, and more) and a shuffleboard table.

Stacks Room
Exclusive access to the inside of one of the Steam Plant’s original smoke stacks, with a flowing water feature and customizable LED lighting.

How many people can Steam Plant's event spaces hold?
Our four event spaces range from 20 to 200 guests. The Rooftop accommodates up to 200 for an indoor and outdoor reception, while the Stacks Room, Game Room, and the Avista Loft hold up to 65.
What is the difference between Events and Private Dining at Steam Plant?
Events spaces, including the Rooftop, Avista Loft, Stacks Room, and Game Room, are designed for larger gatherings such as corporate events, celebrations, and parties. Private Dining rooms are smaller, more intimate spaces suited for dinners and meetings.
Does Steam Plant provide catering for events?
Yes. We offer two catering menus: to-go catering for events held offsite, and in-house catering for events hosted within the building.
How do I book an event space at Steam Plant?
To book one of our event spaces, complete our event inquiry form at the bottom of this page, and our team will follow up to confirm availability and walk you through room options
Is there a deposit or minimum spend required to book?
To secure your event reservation at the Steam Plant, the room rental fee will be charged as a deposit. There is no food or beverage minimum. Any food and beverage balance is due the day of the event.
Can I tour the event spaces before booking?
For private tours of the event spaces, please contact Becky Francis at (509) 890-9181, or email becky@rubyhospitality.com. Tours are typically scheduled Tuesday – Saturday by appointment.
What is included with rental?
Alongside your space, you’ll receive tables, chairs, setup & teardown, selection of linens and color napkins, and a dedicated group of servers for your event.
