Rooftop Wedding Package
Two outdoor patios, skyline views of the smoke stacks, and a built-in bar. Choose between a package of 5 hours, or 10 hours. Host a warm-weather ceremony on our north patio, seating up to 80, with LED backlighting programmed to your wedding colors. We can even light the stacks themselves.

Stacks Room Package
An intimate ceremony inside the industrial heart of the Steam Plant, complete with a water feature and color changing backlight, and exclusive access to the inside of a smoke stack.

Avista Loft Package
A bright, flexible reception space with a built-in bar and bonus room, ready for a celebration that feels both modern and industrial. Originally filled with glass batteries to store excess power, prior to the development of river dams in the Pacific Northwest, this room houses the plant’s original electical generator.

How many guests can the Steam Plant accommodate for a wedding?
Capacity depends on the space. The Rooftop holds up to 200 guests; the Stacks Room and Avista Loft hold up to 80 guests.
What's included in a Steam Plant wedding?
Every package includes a bridal ready room, tables, chairs, and linens, full setup and teardown, bartender and server staff, a house sound system, a day of event coordinator, and a menu tasting and planning session.
Can I tour the event spaces before booking?
For private tours of our event spaces, please contact Becky Francis at (509) 890-9181, or email becky@rubyhospitality.com. Tours are typically scheduled Tuesday – Saturday by appointment.
Does the Steam Plant provide catering?
Yes. All food and beverage service is handled in house by the Steam Plant’s own culinary team, and the tasting session is built into every wedding package.
Can we bring in our own vendors, like a florist or DJ?
Absolutely! We’ll work with you and your wedding team to make your day the best it can be! Ask your Event Manager for a list of preferred vendors that are familiar with our space.
What fees are there with my event?
There is a 20% service fee and 9.1% sales tax on food and beverage, and a 20% service fee on the room rental.
Is there parking available at the Steam Plant?
We have limited on-site parking, but an extensive parking lot is adjacent to the building, to the north. We partnered with AirGarage to make parking easy at the lot to support your event. Contact our Events team for more information.
Is the Steam Plant accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Our historic building is accessible, with automated doors, elevators, and ramps connecting different sections. Some access to event areas includes stairs, so we recommend consulting with our events team to plan your event around your or your guests’ specific accessibility needs.
