Under the Smokestacks...

Have you noticed our new billboard? Alright, maybe it's not new, but we think it is the best billboard in town. Take a look at the downtown skyline and you'll see the twin 225-foot smokestacks rising into the air. And under those smokestacks?...the Steam Plant Grill! And at the Steam Plant Grill, there's a lot going on...

BLOOMSDAY WEEKEND - wear in your 2009 Bloomsday t-shirt and receive Happy Hour prices on Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company Beers anywhere in the restaurant. That's right, $2.50 pints for anyone with their Bloomsday t-shirt on, so reward yourself for finishing the race and come on down!

GRADUATION PARTIES - with four distinct private dining rooms, the Steam Plant Grill is Spokane's best restaurant for large group dining. We can accommodate parties from 1 to 60. Large parties do require advance notice and planning and during the upcoming graduation weekends, you might want to call ahead, our space is filling up fast.

MOTHER'S DAY - you asked for it, so we have decided to open our doors early on both Saturday AND Sunday to help you celebrate that special day. We know there are a lot of failies in town for graduations as well and we have several tables that acommodate bigger groups in our dining rooms.

COMMUNITY EVENTS - look for the release of our new Maestro's Brew, coming soon. This new beer was designed in part with the help of the Spokane Symphony's conductor, Eckart Preu, and a portion of the proceeds from each pint sold will be donated back to the Symphony.

From the Kitchen
You may have noticed that we are no longer including "Weekly Specials" in our newsletters. This is because we are rotating our feature sheet two to three times a week. We have had red snapper, seafood linguine and filet mignon in the past couple of weeks. So what's on our feature sheet today? You'll just have to come on in and find out for yourself.

Spokane's Best Parking
You may not know this, but we have the best parking of any restaurant in downtown Spokane. How can we say this, you ask, when there are so few spots outside our front doors? Easy! We just happen to validate parking for all our guests that park in the Diamond lot that is located just north of the railroad tracks on Lincoln. That's right! We have over 40 stalls of parking available and they are all free to guests of the Steam Plant Grill!
