We're pleased to offer “Light Up the Stacks!” as a way to celebrate or promote select philanthropic and cultural events in our community.
The Steam Plant's 225-foot twin stacks are an iconic part of the Spokane skyline, and this is a great opportunity to add awareness to organizations and events that are doing good work for our community.
We welcome requests to join us as a Lighting Partner if you have a non-commercial, community, or philanthropic event to highlight.
A Few of Our Lighting Partners: Breast Cancer Awareness, Childhood Cancer, Alzheimer's, Gonzaga Basketball, Red Cross, Christmas, July 4th, St. Patricks Day, Lilac Parade, Weddings.
The brand-new Rooftop Event Space is open and booking up fast! Through a top-to-bottom refresh, the Steam Plant has continued to celebrate its history while creating beautiful, versatile, modern spaces for events large and small. Your business or family gathering belongs downtown at the iconic Steam Plant.
On the third level of the Seehorn building right off Lincoln street, the Rooftop can accommodate up to 150 people, includes a bridal suite and a patio, and offers a breathtaking view of the plant's smokestacks and the Spokane skyline.
A private dining room that comfortably accommodates parties up to 16, the Board Room was once an actual boiler. In fact, the original pipes still line the walls and ceiling. Cozy and private, it's the perfect setting for a meeting, party, or family event.
Slightly larger than the Board Room, the Boiler was also - you guessed it - one of the Steam Plant's boilers. It's a unique space that seats up to 24 guests.
The Commons is a private yet airy space that can accommodate seated meals for up to 50 and hors d’oeuvre parties for up to 80. It features one of the Steam Plant's original instrument panels, an entrance into the base of one of the smokestacks, and a waterfall created out of original piping.
